TEAM TED

   NAT BUTLER
DIRECTOR
OF EVENTS

Working on many corporate events in her early days as a Producer, Nat’s passion for film is what The Event Department is founded on.  This experience easily translates to any event that comes TED’s way.

Nat can quickly turn a wild or fanciful idea into an event to remember. From bespoke structures to street closures: if you can dream it, Nat can execute it.

Nat’s creativity and “everything is possible” approach sets her apart, along with her dedication to detail.  She will not promise something she doesn't know she can't deliver. That's how she has earned her reputation as a level headed business woman that Australia's film's industry trusts.

With over 15 years experience in the event industry she has worked on all of the film industries largest premiere events and world firsts with a vast experience in logistics and creative execution across many event platforms.

Nat has produced some of the event industries most talked about events, and with this expertise and logistics understanding , it sets her apart as a leader in the film premiere and special events market.

And she's particularly proud of the Australian Premiere of The Greatest Showman - so much so that there's a photo from the event hanging in her hallway at home.

ADAM BUTLER
CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Yup - it’s a family business. Adam’s career has spanned TV drama when he was a writer on ‘Home and Away’ right through to Entertainment TV and beyond with internet integration as Head of Entertainment at Channel Seven’s online venture i7. For the last eleven years Adam has introduced filmed junkets to Australian media and continues to be in high demand for press days in Australia and Asia. If there’ a famous person on TV - chances are Adam is standing close by with a stopwatch.

Adam and Nat’s worlds collided whilst he was at Showtime - Australia’s pay TV movie service. Working as a Producer on Red Carpet events, Adam was able to give an insight into the needs and requirements of media at Nat’s events, adding value as media were able to produce better stories and get them to air faster.

Adam's skill is taking an idea and breaking it down into executable moments and deliverable elements. He understands what is required for delivery across new and traditional media platforms and how to make it happen.

Working with the TED team, Adam helps us create memorable social content opportunities and media events.

KEELY de MANIELLE
EXECUTIVE
PRODUCER

IMOGEN DALZELL
PRODUCER

We met Keely as Group Sales and Event Manager at one of Australia's largest cinema sites. Our experience working with Keely was exactly how we hoped our clients felt about us, so as the business expanded we invited her to take the step to 'The Other Side' and join TED.

Keely understands and has passion for the business and, like the rest of the team, is happy to stand back and watch the excitement on guests faces as they experience a Film Premiere or well executed Event.

Thanks to her experience working for some of Sydney’s largest Hospitality Groups, such as Merivale and Keystone, she understands the needs and inner workings of a venue. Her incredibly positive energy and ability to create enduring relationships and partnerships with Gold Standard venues across Australia, has helped TED become the preferred supplier for many venues.

Keely loves every aspect of the TED world, from working with clients to create concepts and plans for show stopping events, to being in the thick of an action-packed premiere where being able to think on your feet and work under pressure are essential skills.

Some of her favourite events, have been where the magic of film has been brought to life for guests, and where the TED team can create a wow factor that no one expected. She explains that “seeing something through from concept to creation leaves a feeling that can’t be described or beaten”.

Fresh to the TED Team, Imogen came to us via previous experience at Merivale and Pedestrian TV where she was responsible for creative style and creative conceptualisation for parties, launches, seasonal activations and bespoke private events.

Post COVID, Imogen spent some time in Europe and completed interior design studies in Milan. On return to Australia Imogen hung out her design shingle and successfully completed transformations for restaurants across Sydney.

Imogen mentioned to one of our close suppliers that she was missing the team environment of activations and launches and they cleverly sent her our way. The Sydney restaurant scene's loss is our gain and Imogen has hit the ground running styling our Wuthering Heights Opening Night Celebration and designing our new Entertainment Quarter offices.
